Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane dumped from Love Island

Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodham
The couple were voted the least popular by fans of the reality competition and still had time to blast the way his ex acted.

Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodham have been dumped from the Love Island villa.
They are just one of two couple who were voted off the ITV2 reality show fays before the final.
The couple have had quite the journey in the house, especially after Terry was branded a cheat by his ex Malin Andersson when he recoupled with Emma-Jane just days after she was booted from the show.

Emma and Terry chatted with Caroline Flack about their experience in the villa and of course talk turned to the tattooed hunk’s ex with his new girlfriend labelling her a “d***head” for the way she acted.

Caroline asked Terry if he understood why Malin had been upset when she’d returned to confront him in the explosive scenes.

“I can understand, 100%. But when she walked in, I felt like we could have spoken about it like adults,” Terry explained, “What can I do? I’m in a villa where I can’t ring her or text her. I said it more than once [when we were together] that she was acting like a child.

EURO 2016: My dream is to win the cup – Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Real Madrid striker was part of the team that fell short in the 2004 decider against Greece, and he is determined to deliver Portugal’s first major trophy against the hosts

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo admitted France will be favourites for their Euro 2016 final in Paris on Sunday, but he still thinks his team will prevail.

After the heartbreak of Euro 2004 – when Ronaldo and Portugal were defeated 1-0 in the final on home soil by Greece – the Real Madrid man is driven not to let another, potentially his last, opportunity to win silverware with his country slip.

“It would mean a lot. It’s something I’ve always dreamed of, to win with the national team,” Ronaldo told

“I have won everything at club level and the individual level, this would be a great achievement to win something for the Portuguese team.

“I believe that this is possible, as do my colleagues and the whole country also believe. We must have positive thinking because I believe that on Sunday will be the first time that Portugal will win a major trophy.”

Portugal have been far from the best team at the tournament, as they drew their three group games to qualify for the knockout rounds as one of the best third-placed teams, before needing extra time against Croatia in the round of 16 and then penalties in the quarter-finals against Poland.

Only against Wales in the semi-final have Portugal looked convincing in their play.

Vice President blames Niger Delta Avengers for shortage of power

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President has attributed the drop of electric power supply on the repeated attacks on oil and gas pipelines to the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA).

The Vice President said the damages inflicted on terminals and gas pipeline installations, mostly in the Niger Delta region, have further helped in crippling the country’s economic growth and development.

“Loss of gas is the major reason why Nigeria has a shortage of power,” he added.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo stated this on Friday at the 2nd Foundation Lecture of the privately owned Elizade University, Ilaro Mokin in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, SaharaReporters correspondent reported.

Prof. Osinbajo, who delivered a forty-minute lecture with the theme “The Future Is Here, Earlier Than We Thought” observed that investing in key technological innovations is critical to the scientific growth and expansion of Nigeria.

According to Prof. Osinbajo, Nigeria as a developing nation would firstly need to address and solve the issue of pipeline vandalism to take full advantage of economic opportunities.

He explained that the main target of the present administration, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, in the power sector of the country is to generate 7, 000 Megawatts in the next few years. Presently Nigeria generates 5,000 Megawatts which is considered unstable.

Prof. Osinbajo, who disclosed that fifty percent of Nigeria’s power generation comes through the use of gas, expressed grief at the daily attacks on the country’s oil pipeline by some unscrupulous economic saboteurs hiding under the mask of the beleaguered NDA to cause damages.

He further posited that the militants, masquerading in the guise of the NDA, are not fighting for the region’s freedom but only agitating for their own personal financial interests, thereby shortchanging the country’s growth and development.

He maintained that billions of naira from the country’s treasury had been spent on the need to maintain peace in the Niger Delta region and wondered why there was continued hostility from militants who are selfishly and purposely crippling the country’s economy by destroying oil pipelines.

“They [Niger Delta Avengers] are only fighting for their own private economic benefits. It is unacceptable to destroy oil pipelines,” he said.

Vice President the Nigerian youths and university students to learn ‘multi-skills’ that require use of technology, which could help salvage their quest for white-collar jobs that are no longer visible in the country.

“Multi-skilling is required in the future of today because, in the nearest future, robots will take over the jobs in the country.

“You have to be innovative in your thinking and ideas,” the Vice President concluded.

Among The Number

1 CHRONICLES 11:26-47

Key Verse: “Also the valiant men of the armies were, Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem” (1 Chronicles 11:26).

Those who do extraordinary things will always be counted. The Book of Numbers 25:7, 8, has an account of a worthy exploit by a young man who hated sin and moved to defend God. For that singular act, he wrote his name in gold. In today’s text, David’s success to bring the nation under his rule was because he had surrounded himself with very capable men.

These mighty men aligned themselves with David, while Saul was still reigning. They had great influence in the lives of the people when David eventually ascended the throne. You will recall that these valiant men had risked their lives to bring David water, but he refused to drink it. Their daring venture had manifested the extremity of their loyalty to him.

By the same token, David’s refusal to drink the water also manifested how deeply he valued their lives. These valiant men were listed in the text today, including the names of their fathers. It goes to show that everyone’s work is being recorded and published against the individual’s name.

We are challenged to stand up to be counted among those who risk their lives for the sake of the gospel. There were multitudes of men in Israel at that time; but only a few were marked out. Stand up for the gospel and strive never to be left out from the number of valiant and selfless men who invested their all into the gospel.

Thought for the day: Those who never dare to take risk die without garlands.
